Kamusari ( 神避り ?) is a word used in the Kojiki, where it refers to the passing away of a kami. It was first seen used against Kozuki Oden, hitting him in the torso with a burst of dark lightning-like energy, and was powerful enough to overwhelm the samurai's two-sword defense, sending him backward a great distance.
